Two Things

by Dee Harrison

Having been seriously behind with just about everything I found myself going around in circles – an action which I consider to be the bane of the multi-tasker.

Quite by chance I listened to a Tony Robbins snippet and, to paraphrase his closing comments, he asked what two things could you do today which

  • would make you feel better about yourself
  • would see you making progress
  • are long overdue for attention

So, for the last few days I have selected just two actions and completed those first. Two is not a number of overwhelm – even my mind in its current state to get to grips with two things! But, having completed two things each day for a number of days I can notice an appreciable difference in the outstanding jobs list, which in turn strengthens my psyche.

So, if you are in a place of overwhelm or perhaps just low energy after the long winter months, select just two things and do them. You’ll be amazed at the difference it makes.
